Daycare at Gahanna Animal Hospital is loads of fun! Your dog can be here playing and learning while you are at work or running errands. Our daycare time consists of different activities such as learning basic commands (sit, stay, come and down). The daycare dogs also learn to love being here at the animal hospital. They are taken on tours of the hospital including the exam rooms, the treatment area, the x-ray area and the surgery room. They also get to visit with the employees. Daycare is a great idea for puppies and dogs with separation anxiety, socialization issues or dogs who don't like coming to see the vet.

At the end of each day your pet will get their own individual report card so you can monitor their progress! For pets with behavior issues we use behavior modification methods, such as re-directing unwanted behavior into a behavior that is preferred and being rewarded with positive reinforcement and low calorie treats!

So during the day your pet can be here running through tunnels, making new friends, playing with lots of fun toys and having a wonderful and educational experience that will benefit both you and your pet. A tired puppy is a happy puppy.
